Calvin left school at 16 and started work at Yorkshire Bank serving 19 years before moving into the world of Invoice Finance in 2001 with Cattles Invoice Finance, which was latterly acquired by Aldermore Bank in 2009.
During his time at Cattles/Aldermore, Calvin wrote almost 250 deals and was consistently the top-performing salesman nationally, which ultimately ended in him being promoted to Regional Sales Director for the Yorkshire and North East region, running a team of 8 high performing sales managers.
Calvin left Aldermore in 2014 to take up a contractor relationship with Reward Finance Group on a self-employed basis. This relationship exposed Calvin to the short-term secured lending market (bridging finance) as well as continuing with other forms of asset based lending. The formal relationship with Reward ended in October 2015.
Over the last 2 years, Calvin has developed a vast number of contacts in the lending market both with the high street Banks and the alternative lenders, which continue to increase by way of number and innovation. He has always been well connected and well known within the Yorkshire and North East region, with his number of connections increasing hugely since leaving Aldermore. This is where his key value lies.
